Using USSD Code to View GTBank Account Balance on Phone

  • To check your GtBank account balance on your mobile device, you must register with *737# mobile banking.
  • After you have successfully registered, dial *737*6*1# on your phone.
  • Proceed with the directions displayed on the screen.
  • Your phone will show the current balance of your account.

How to Check the Account Balance at the Diamond Bank

Diamond Bank has a partnership with the MTN Foundation for their USSD banking. Please note that this is for only those with a Diamond Yello Account.

According to the Diamond Bank, the diamond yellow product is an account linking both financial and telecommunication services to active MTN customers.

This scheme makes it convenient for subscribers to line up with the CBN financial inclusion strategy from their phones by dialing *710#. To check for the diamond account details, dial *710*556*PIN# on your phone.

Alternatively, when using the 16 digits of your ATM card by dialing 0700-300-0000 and pressing 1 to see your account balance option, insert your 16-digit number followed by the four keys.

You will then be asked to enter your 4-digit self-service code, which I believe would have been sent to you initially during registration.

Change the 4-digit code to a new 4-pin, after which your account balance will opt out.
